Mystic Women Retreat Waiver, Release of Liability & Terms Agreement

By registering for and participating in any Mystic Women retreat, workshop, ceremony, class, or event (collectively, the "Retreat"), I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in Retreat activities—including but not limited to Kundalini Yoga, meditation, breathwork, cacao ceremonies, herbal workshops, hiking, swimming, movement practices, wellness activities, and excursions—involves inherent risks that may result in physical injury, illness, emotional release, property damage, or, in rare cases, serious injury or death.

I certify that I am physically and mentally able to participate and voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks associated with the Retreat, including those arising from the ordinary negligence of Mystic Women and its owners, employees, contractors, facilitators, volunteers, partners, and venue providers ("Released Parties"), to the fullest extent permitted by Florida law.

2. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, I release, waive, and discharge the Released Parties from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my participation in the Retreat, including claims resulting from ordinary negligence.

3. Medical Responsibility

I understand that Mystic Women does not provide medical or mental health services. I am responsible for determining whether I am fit to participate. I authorize emergency medical treatment if necessary and accept responsibility for all related costs.

4. Personal Property

I am solely responsible for my personal belongings. Mystic Women is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property.

5. Force Majeure

Mystic Women is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, transportation disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

6. Photography & Media Release

Unless I notify Mystic Women in writing before the Retreat begins, I grant permission for photographs, videos, or recordings taken during the Retreat to be used for educational, promotional, marketing, website, and social media purposes without compensation.

7. Payments & Cancellation

A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve my space.

If I cancel 60 days or more before the Retreat and my space is filled by another participant, payments made (excluding the deposit) will be refunded.

If I cancel less than 60 days before the Retreat and my space is filled, my payments may be transferred to a future Mystic Women Retreat at Mystic Women's discretion. If my space cannot be filled, no refund will be issued.

If Mystic Women cancels the Retreat, I will receive a refund of payments made directly to Mystic Women. Mystic Women is not responsible for airfare, travel expenses, accommodations booked independently, travel insurance, or other personal costs.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Any dispute arising from this Agreement or my participation in a Mystic Women Retreat shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida, and I consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

If any part of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Participant Acknowledgement

BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE CAREFULLY READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS WAIVER. I VOLUNTARILY ASSUME THE RISKS OF PARTICIPATION AND RELEASE CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO BRING CERTAIN LEGAL CLAIMS AGAINST MYSTIC WOMEN AND THE RELEASED PARTIES, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY FLORIDA LAW.
